Great sonnets. The sauna (sow-na as they say in these parts), the cold lake, the rascal wave -- all are instantly familiar to me. I love how you've brought together the stars and the times when we tend to see them most.
Interesting Kim Deal anecdote -- I didn't know that about her. I still can't quite grasp the advantage, but yeah, it's quirky. I heard a poet talk about how it takes months or a year or something to write his poems, and he puts them all on stickies around his house so he can live with them. I always imagined him wandering from room to room, reading, scratching out things, writing.
I can't remember if he was married, but I'm guessing not... lol
