Whoa! This is a bolt from the blue! Todd, Luddites are especially welcome here, I'll have you know. They seemed to have gotten much right, actually, even though they didn't have the privilege of writing their history. That writing was done by their opponents.
(For onlookers to this comment: Todd and I grew up together in a very small town in Minnesota, not far from where the mythical Lake Wobegon would be located. And, yes, there were Norwegian bachelor farmers.)
